Tryouts for 2019-2020 Season Announced

The SYC Warriors are pleased to announce tryouts for 2019-2020 Season.

We will field teams in the 18u, 14u, 12u, and 10u age groups.

Tryouts will be held August 10th at the Susquehannock Varsity field (3280 Fissels Church Road, Glen Rock, PA).

18u will be 9:00 - 10:30 am

14u will be 10:30 - 12:00 pm

12u will be 3:00 - 4:30 pm

10u will be 4:30 - 6:00 pm

The 18U team is expected to compete in 2 fall tournaments and 6 spring/summer tournaments, including a World Series or National event under USSSA, ASA, Pony, or other sanctioned body. The 18U team will practice 2 times a week with a break between Thanksgiving and New Years.

The 14U team is expected to compete in 2 fall tournaments, 1 winter tournament, and 6 spring/summer tournaments, including a World Series or National event under USSSA, ASA, Pony, or other sanctioned body. The 14U team will practice 2 times a week with a break between Thanksgiving and New Years.

The 12U team is expected to compete in 1 fall tournament, 1 winter tournament, and 3-4 spring/summer tournaments, including a World Series or National event under USSSA, ASA, Pony, or other sanctioned body. The 12U team will also play within the SCPAS rec league for fall ball and summer ball. These games will serve as practices during those seasons. Outside of the fall and summer seasons the team will practice 2 times a week with a break between Thanksgiving and New Years.

The 10U is expected to compete in 1 fall tournament and 2 spring/summer tournaments under USSSA, ASA, Pony, or other sanctioned body. The 10U team will also play within the SCPAS rec league for fall ball and summer ball. These games will serve as practices during those seasons. Outside of the fall and summer seasons the team will practice 1 time a week with a break between Thanksgiving and New Years.

All teams will utilize various fields around Glen Rock, New Freedom, and Shrewsbury areas. The SYC Warriors also have their own indoor facility located at Windy Hill that the teams will have access to for practices.

All of our teams are coached by professionals (no kids on the teams). We believe this sets us apart of the other teams in the area. All coaches have many years of experience and success to coach your daughter into the best softball player she can be.
